Baslift operates in Moldova and equips its lifts with components from German manufacturers. For us this is above all a matter of logistics: the route from Moldova to western Ukraine is shorter than any Asian delivery, with no sea leg and no transhipment at a port. The equipment travels by road, and if one item turns out to be missing during installation, reordering it does not mean waiting for months.
The range is built on the classics: passenger and goods lifts for residential complexes. The NATURE category stands apart: a wooden car with gilded details, direction arrow indicators, card-operated car calls and an audible arrival signal at each floor. This version is chosen by representative offices, small hotels and offices where the car contributes to the impression the interior makes.
Another item that large corporations are reluctant to take on is small service lifts (dumbwaiters) for cafés and restaurants. The car is made of food-grade stainless steel, with rails inside to hold a tray or crockery in place during travel. In a kitchen this is no small thing: waiters do not carry dishes up the stairs, and orders do not go cold on the way from the lower ground floor to the dining room.
It is worth understanding the limitations up front. The factory is smaller than the Bulgarian and Polish ones and its range is narrower, and we do not offer it for high-rise buildings with heavy passenger traffic: they need equipment with a different service life. A stock of critical parts is best written into the maintenance contract from the outset. BAS-elevator wins where the budget is limited and the task is simple and clear.
For residential buildings, offices, hotels and public buildings.
For warehouses, factories, shopping centres and kitchens.
For hospitals and medical centres: sized for stretchers and intensive care beds.

Reliability is determined not by the country of assembly but by what is inside and who maintains it. Baslift fits its equipment with components from German manufacturers, so the key parts are not unbranded. We have installed this equipment and know what to expect from it on sites with moderate traffic. For a building with two high-speed lifts and a thousand residents, we would propose a different factory.
Yes, it is a separate item, not an add-on to a large contract. We come out, take measurements for the shaft or an add-on structure, and agree the loading and unloading levels and the position of the control panel. The car is made of food-grade stainless steel, with rails to hold crockery in place. Installing a lift like this takes less time than a passenger lift, but the requirements for stopping accuracy at counter level are just as strict.
When the building is high-rise, passenger traffic is heavy and every hour of lift downtime costs money. Nor is it a good fit if you need equipment with an unusual specification, non-standard car geometry or high speed. In those cases we steer the conversation straight to Bulgarian or Polish factories: it is cheaper to pay more at the start than to overhaul the equipment a few years later.
We handle maintenance ourselves: inspections, planned repairs, emergency call-outs and remote monitoring. As for spare parts, German components are easier to obtain than niche Asian ones, but the factory itself is smaller, so it is best to order car-specific parts with a reserve when buying the equipment. We usually agree the list of such items before the supply contract is signed.
What determines the choice of lift: building type, number of floors, rated load, drive type and whether there is a machine room. Practical guidelines and common mistakes.
