What to know about MP Lifts
MP is a family company from Seville that started in 1970 with electromechanical lift components and has been building complete lifts since the late 1990s. Today it has two plants: Seville produces automatic doors, hydraulics and electronics, while Zaragoza assembles the lifts themselves, the cars and frames, and ships from there. Altogether that means about five thousand new lifts a year, a hundred and sixty-five thousand installed worldwide and more than twelve hundred employees; most of the output is sold outside Spain.
What interests us most about MP is what you cannot see in the lift. The factory makes the ecoGO controller with a built-in variable frequency drive, the gearless permanent-magnet maGO traction machine, the doors and the cars itself. The controller is open: our crew does the commissioning, we get full access to diagnostics and documentation together with the equipment, and the remote monitoring platform lets us read and adjust the lift's parameters without a site visit. This matters more than it seems: it is closed controllers that keep clients dependent on a single service company for years.
The core model is MP GO: a machine-room-less lift for 320-1600 kg at 1.0, 1.6 or 2.5 m/s, with up to 32 stops. For existing buildings with a tight shaft there is the Flex series with a pit from a few tens of centimetres; for complete replacements retaining the machine room, GO Room; for heavy loads, Mega up to 6500 kg; and, separately, hospital lifts for 90 and 100 cm beds. A panoramic car can be ordered as a version of any of these series. The range is rounded off by the MP MOBI accessibility platform lift. There are also escalators and moving walks under the MP brand: we confirm the factory and country of manufacture for each specific project.
Portal supplies MP lifts on a turnkey basis: site survey, factory configuration, delivery, installation by our own crews, commissioning, documents for putting into operation, and maintenance. We are currently preparing a 630 kg MP panoramic lift with a glass car for a public building in Ivano-Frankivsk; once it is handed over, it will appear in the "Our Projects" section.
